GPS trackers come in many different shapes and sizes.  But no matter what brand is used, the purpose is always the same—to keep track of the valuables and people.  A GPS tracker is usually small and portable, and they can be hidden in very inconspicuous places to, in most cases, avoid suspicions.  Discretion in hiding these GPS tracking devices is important because, in some people’s eyes, there is a fine line between spying and honest concern for that person’s well being.  Two major types of personal GPS tracking devices are those that are used in vehicles and those that are carried on a person.

Isaac Daniels is a manufacturer of GPS shoes.  He initially created GPS shoes in response to a scary situation with his son at school.  Daniels was in NY on business, and he got a call from his son’s school saying that they couldn’t find his son.  Daniels immediately left his business meeting and boarded a plane home to Atlanta.  Upon returning Daniels soon learned that his son was fine and had been at school the entire time.  In essence, Daniels spent unnecessary time and money worrying about his son’s safety.  It was from this event that Daniels first thought up GPS shoes.  Getting a call from his son’s school would not have been a problem if there had been a GPS tracker in the boy’s shoe.  No matter where father or son had been, Daniels could have located his son on his computer immediately and avoided all the drama.

GPS shoes can be used for many different applications, such as, child safety and the safety of elderly with dementia.  These shoes can help you keep your loved ones out of dangerous areas and close by you at all times—all without them even knowing.  The only downside of these shoes is that they are quite expensive; they start around $300.  They are pricey, but they are well worth it since you can’t put a price on life.
